The Singapore Business Council is a non-profit organisation established in 1999 and registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The SBC was established with the support of the Embassy of Singapore in Abu Dhabi and Consulate General of Singapore in Dubai. The SBC is managed by an Executive Committee of volunteers who are Singaporean professionals residing in the UAE. The SBC collaborates with various partners to connect Singaporeans, expats, enterprises and communities, especially for the roughly 4,000 Singaporeans in the UAE.
Our mission is to enable Singaporean professionals in the UAE to build relationships that benefit everyone involved — with one another, with public institutions, and with private enterprise — and to facilitate the exchange of knowledge that turns those relationships into real business and career outcomes.
Our vision is a Singaporean business community in the UAE that is closely connected, well represented, and actively shaping the country's commercial life — a network that both its own members and the wider UAE business community turn to first.

Facilitate Networking
We connect Singaporean professionals in the UAE with the business entities, groups, and councils that matter most to their work — turning introductions into lasting professional relationships.
Knowledge Sharing
We keep our business community and members ahead of the curve on best business practices in the UAE, through regular knowledge-sharing sessions that turn hard-won experience into a shared advantage.
Increase Visibility
We help raise the visibility of Singaporean professionals, brands, and businesses in the UAE through conferences, exhibitions, panels, and every other stage worth standing on.
Regional network
SBC UAE is a member of the ASEAN Business Council Alliance (ABCA) — a regional network of expatriate business councils operating across the UAE, each representing a different corner of Southeast Asia. Together, ABCA's member councils create a shared platform for cross-border collaboration, giving Singaporean professionals and businesses a direct line into other national business communities they would otherwise have no easy way to reach.
